The New Jersey Parents of Developmental Disabled Adults (NJPDDA) aims to provide easily accessible information, resources, and community for parents of  adult children with chronic physical or mental disabilities that impacts their self-care, mobility, learning, communication, economic sufficiency, and their ability to live independently.

Our History

NJPDDA started as a Facebook page that shared articles and fostered community. As our following grew, we started receiving the same questions again and again. The need to streamline information to better help those in our community became quickly apparent.

As parents with adult children with disabilities ourselves, NJPDDA was formed. It is funded by and ran on a strictly volunteer basis. Please consider supporting our cause so no New Jersey parent has to navigate finding care for their loved one alone again!

Supporting our community through streamlined information.
